Two friends, one obsession

Romy and Hazel met the way most good stories start — completely by accident, over a shared moisturiser recommendation at a mutual friend's birthday dinner. What started as a five-minute chat about skincare turned into a two-hour conversation that ended with both of them exchanging numbers, convinced they'd just found their new best friend.

Turns out they had more in common than great taste in serums. Both were tired of the same thing: skincare that promised the world and delivered nothing, routines that felt more like homework than self-care, and shelves full of products they'd bought on a whim and never used again.

So they started doing what any two obsessive friends do — testing everything. Comparing notes. Sending each other 11pm voice messages about a new formula they'd just tried. Slowly, an idea started to take shape: what if they built the skincare edit they'd always wished existed? Honest, simple, genuinely good — nothing more, nothing less.

That idea became Romy & Hazel.

What we believe

We think skincare should feel like a moment for yourself, not another item on your to-do list. Every product we offer has to pass one test: would we actually use this ourselves? If it's not a genuine yes, it doesn't make the cut.

We're not a huge corporation with a boardroom full of people who've never tried the products. We're two friends who still argue over which serum is better, who still get excited over a good skincare find, and who are genuinely thrilled you're here.
